The main reason entertainment movies are made is to make profit. In that case, they don't have any obligation to be culturally correct or preservation of our culture. The sub tittle a narration of what the movies is about and a key segment of their marketing strategy. As such, they don't have to have Amharic sub tittle.

eg. Semayawi Feres. the words are so strong brilliant idea, but it was made a true artist. Yewendoch guday, what a title for the deserved movie. so, the problem is the film makers. They talk what make them right to escape from accountability. It is unquestionable to give titles in Amharic for Ethiopian audience. @ sosi, watch last week's Gemena, the teacher's scene ur quesion will be answered!!

First, movies haven't been made by professionals. So, they pick the title without considering their atmosphere. Most of Ethiopian movies' author are not professional. they just need to make money. as long as they make money why should they worry about language, tradition and history. Which school Birtukan Befikadu went. just because she doesn't know her language well, she lose a word in Amharic.
