In the spectacular Simien Mountains, we take a 4-day
(optional) trek into the rugged domain of the Lammergeier and the
endemic Walia Ibex and Gelada Baboon. We then visit Awash National Park,
a classic East African game reserve populated by herds of antelope,
bustards and raptors, and the Great Rift Valley, where both Wondo Guenet
Forest and Lakes Awassa and Langano provide idyllic settings for yet
more exciting birdwatching and mammal viewing.
