Teddy Afro’s concert postponed
widely anticipated concert of Teddy Afro is rescheduled for October 20,
2012. The concert, which was going to be held on October 13, had to be
postponed as it was not possible for the artist to manage both the show
and his wedding at about the same time. Teddy, who will be married to
fiancé Amleset Muche on September 27, plans to put on his full energy
and attention with the usual unreserved effort to please his fans which
made the extension imperative. Organizer of the show, Adika
Communication and Events, and the artist plan to entertain the audience
with a fabulous show in what is expected to be a great night of music!

Teddy Afro to perform in Addis on October 13, 2012
Teddy Afro is set to take center stage at the Ghion Hotel on October
13, 2012. The singer will thrill his fans with a full concert in support
of his most recent album, Tikur Sew. The concert “Wede Fiker”, which is
expected to have more than 15,000 people in attendance, promises an
amazing performance from the singer with
“Abugida band”, a band of the highest caliber, and a state-of-the-art
stage show. This is Teddy Afro’s first ever concert in Addis since the
release of his last album. Tickets for the event will go on sale
starting September 25, 2012. The concert which is expected to be a sold
out event is expected to be broadcast live for a few minutes on EBS. An

for reflecting the prevalent issues within the society, seems to have
struck a chord with ‘Sew Le Sew’ a soap opera style TV drama. The
popularity of the show has increased with every episode aired after the
9:00pm evening news on Wednesdays for more than a year.
Tewodros Kassahun and Amleset Muchie have welcomed their first child today. The couple who was wed on September 27th 2012 are now parents to a baby boy. The newly parents have named their child "Michael".

Police in the Eastern province have arrested 3,796 labor law violators during the inspection campaign, said Lt. Col. Zayad Al-Ruqaiti, spokesman for the Eastern Province Police.
“Violators were sent to the province’s detention center, and we will continue the crackdown all over the province’s cities to make sure that all expats’ employment and work situations are legal to eradicate this phenomenon,” he said.
“Authorities are investigating sites where violators hide according to information we receive on a regular basis.”
